The Government is advising against non-essential travel to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These are unprecedented times. We all have a responsibility to consider not just ourselves but to the people of our country, the local community and on this Park. We must all do our part to hinder the spread of COVID-19.
The Government at 20.30 on 23/03/2020 announced the cessation of all non-essential travel. Therefore Presteigne Holiday Park will be temporary closed from midnight 25/03/2020. Until such time it is safe to re-open.
We ask all caravaners on Park not to stay in your holiday caravan; but to return home. All caravaners that were planning to visit please do not visit until further notice. Please be sensitive towards the views and needs of the local community and NHS.
Please follow your normal routines regarding turning the water off and closing down your caravan. We would recommend that you empty your freezer and take all perishable foodstuffs home with you. If we can be of any assistance please ring to let us know.
We will be making effort to ensure all our staff are looked after during this period.
With great sadness; I would like to mention how devastated our whole family is. We have never had to close our Park’s before.
We urge you to cooperate; to protect yourselves as well as the wider society.
We sincerely thank you for patience and kind messages of support in this testing time of national crisis.
This storm shall pass. Stay safe, take care and we look forward to welcoming you all back as soon as we are able.
